Lauren Marie Humphreys' Obituary
Lauren Marie Humphreys, age 32, passed away in Grand Rapids on March 25, 2017. She was born on September 16, 1984 to Lisa Farnelli-Jones and Jim (Gina Sallgren) Humphreys in Grand Haven. Lauren had a beautiful independent soul and loved to care for others. She especially loved her daughter, Jazlynn Groenke, and spending time with her was Lauren’s true joy. Other survivors include soul mate, Jesse Groenke; grandparents, Glenn (Meredith) Humphreys, Judy (Chuck) Carlisle, Domenico Farnelli and Theresa Farnelli; great-grandmother, Marie Smith; stepsisters, Rachel (Shattuck) Jones–Braafhart, Allison (fiancé, Jared Edsall) Jones along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Lauren was preceded in death by her sister, Kaylin Anne Humphreys. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, March 31, 2017 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Pastor John H. Brown officiating. VISITATION will take place from 5 - 8PM on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials being directed to the family.
