Laurie E. Stewart's Obituary
Mrs. Laurie Ellen Stewart, age 49, passed away peacefully and quietly into the arms of her Lord on Saturday, November 24, 2007. She was born in Muskegon on October 25, 1958 to John “Jack” and Delores “Lynn” (Leonard) Collinge and was a life resident. On November 11, 1978, Laurie married Mark A. Stewart and together they shared 29 years of marriage. She had previously been employed by Lift Tech and as a waitress for many local restaurants. Laurie is survived by her beloved husband, Mark; her dear daughters, Heather (Warren) Mattice and Kim Stewart; her grandchildren, the loves of her life, Marcus Stewart, Larissa Stewart, Jeremy Broton, Jr, and Baby Mattice, due in June; her loving mother, Delores “Lynn” Collinge; 1 sister, Patricia (Thomas) Herron; 2 brothers, John (Patricia) Collinge and Allen (Teresa) Collinge; father-in-law, Dale (Bonnie) Stewart; 1 sister-in-law, Terrie (Randy) Root; special aunts and uncles, Jim and Arlene Leonard and Jack and Marilyn Blackmer; and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, John “Jack” Collinge; her mother-in-law, Marjorie Stewart; and her grandparents, John and Gertrude Collinge and Sophia and Lester Leonard.
