Alicia Curley
I am honestly really confused. The image you see here comes from a photo shoot my granny specifically arranged for our family. She made it very clear that she wanted those photos used in her obituary. Especially the one that meant the most to her, showing the generations: my granny, my grandmother Carol, my mother Carolyn, and myself.
At the time these photos were taken, I was known by my birth name Aleisha Bullard. Ironically, my name was changed around that same time to Alicia Berghuis, without my father’s approval. Oddly enough, that name somehow shows as a false deceased marker via public records 🤷♀️. As I am now married, my name is Alicia Curley.
Because of how intentional she was about these photos, it’s hard for me to understand why they weren’t included and why the people in them aren’t all listed either. It just doesn’t make sense to me.
She also had a full family photo taken for that same purpose. So it’s hard for me to understand why those photos aren’t included, and why the people in those pictures aren’t all listed.
She went to great lengths to make sure those moments were captured and remembered. This just doesn’t add up to me. Can someone please help it make sense?
