Lawrence C. "Larry" Bosits Jr's Obituary
Lawrence C. “Larry” Bosits Jr, age 93, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019 surrounded by family. He was born on July 20, 1926 to Lawrence and Mary (Berzenyi) Bosits Sr in Muskegon, MI and has lived here most of his life. He was a proud veteran, serving his country in the US Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater. He was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Larry was a dedicated employee to Plumbs, where he worked as a meat cutter for 37 years before retiring in 1989. On May 8, 1948 he married the love of his life, the former Angela Zarimba at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Muskegon, MI. Together they cherished 59 years of marriage full of love and laughter. She preceded him in death on December 6, 2007. He enjoyed playing golf and watching any/all football games. He was a devoted Green Bay Packers fan and loved to cheer them on every week. Larry was a hardworking man who saw the best in everyone. Above all things, he loved his family and friends. He was a generous and kind-hearted soul who will be missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his children, Marcia Bosits of Evanston, IL and Deborah (David) Henson of Rowlett, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Jessica (Aaron) Castillo, Benjamin Norrman, and Andrew Norrman; 2 great- grandchildren, Nehemiah Castillo and Mirabell Castillo. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Irene Ziegler. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00PM on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Cremation & Funeral Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444.
