Mr. Lawrence Charles Jennings' Obituary
Mr. Lawrence Charles Jennings, age 72, passed away surrounded by family at his home. Larry was born August 28, 1946 in Allentown, New Jersey to Lawrence and Edith (Matthews) Jennings. On November 29, 1975, He married the former Kathy Anderson in Mt. Holly, New Jersey. Larry worked as a materials handler at Cannon Muskegon for 30 years prior to his retirement in 2006. Larry attended First Wesleyan Church. He was a life-long fisherman and enjoyed putting on fish fries and fish boils for family and friends. He was also an avid hunter and bowled several times a week. He was a good man, a family man and will be greatly missed. In addition to Kathy, his wife of 42 years, Larry is survived by his children, Lori Zahdeh, Lawrence (Deann) Jennings, Andrew Jennings, and Beth Jennings; grandchildren, Josephine Geeting, Mitchell Lawrence (Maddy Carpenter) Geeting, and Jena Zahdeh; sisters, Sharon Jennings, Barb (Tom) Marr, Sandy (Tom) Barnes, Carol (Gary) Morse, and Pam (Tim) Postel; sisters-in-law, Barb (John) Kracht and Carmen Thompson; brothers-in-law, Mike (Joan) Anderson and Bob (Sue) Baglien; and many nieces and nephews, and a special thank you to Eric for his care. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; and sister-in-law, Mary Jo Baglien. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at The First Wesleyan Church, 1040 E. Forest Ave. with Pastor Mike Schultz officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service (10-11 AM). Memorial Contributions may be made to First Wesleyan Church.
