Lawrence M. "Larry" Little's Obituary
Lawrence M. “Larry” Little, age 88, met his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. He was born on October 24, 1932 to Vernon and Mildred “Arlene” (Dolph) Little in Crystal Township, MI. Larry was a dedicated employee to CWC Textron, where he worked as a pattern maker for numerous years. He was also a talented woodworker and pursed that career path after CWC Textron. He was also a proud veteran, serving his country in the US Navy. On June 25, 1954 he married the love of his life, the former Rita Lowrie in Muskegon, MI. Together they cherished 66 years of marriage full of love and laughter. He was known to be an outdoorsman an enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He and Rita also both loved to travel. They went to places such as Germany, England, and France; they truly appreciated seeing the world and all the beauty it had to offer. Besides his love for traveling, Larry was a true family man and he put them above everything. He had a heart of gold and was the type of man that would give anything to make others happy. He was known to be a forgiving man who was also thankful for each day he was given. He will be remembered for being the most wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a steady and tender-loving spirit who will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Rita Little; 7 children, Terri (Ken) Sprague, Lawrence (Lisa) Little, Susan (Dennis) LaBonte, Kim (Ed) Summers, Timothy (Noelle) Little, Thomas (Char) Little and Tami (Stephen) Huffman; 22 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Anderson; sister-in-law, Linda (Tom) Jensen; and man’s best friend his pup, Teddy. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Randy Little; brother, James Little; and granddaughter, Alina Chandonnet. A family service has already been held.
