Mr. Lawrence "Larry" Stout's Obituary
Mr. Lawrence (Larry) James Stout, age 75, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018 surrounded by family. Larry was born January 6, 1943 in Muskegon to Lawrence G. and Connie E. (Alger) Stout. He had worked at Howmet/Alcoa as a machine operator for 38 years prior to his he retirement in 2003. After retirement, Larry had worked at Tubergen’s Cleaners and Laundry up until 2013, when he went to take care of his father in Florida. He enjoyed karaoke, bingo, and playing games on his computer; but most of all he loved entertaining his family and friends with his guitar. Larry will be cherished and missed by his daughters, Ellen (Roy) Thebo of Muskegon and Cami (Jeffrey) Cooper of Enid, OK; 6 grandchildren, Jamie (Beckie) Thebo, Amber Priest, Kelly Cooper, Krystal (Aaron) Armstrong, Felecia Cooper , and Brandon Tonkin; 9 great grandchildren; a sister, Judith (Vern) Johnson of Fremont; several nieces and nephews; a special niece , Christi Handy; and several special friends. Larry was preceded in death by his father in October of 2017. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held 4 PM Saturday, January 5, 2018 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210. VISITATION will be from 2pm until the time of the service. (2-4PM) Memorial Contributions may be made to Harbor Hospice. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.
