Mr. Lawrence A. "Larry" Weis' Obituary
Mr. Lawrence A. “Larry” Weis, age 66, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 in Muskegon. Larry was a veteran of the United States Army having served two tours in Vietnam. He was a self-employed truck driver prior to his retirement. Larry was a long-time member of the Fruitport Eagles. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed roasting marshmallows over a campfire. On July 26, 2014, he married his wife Patsy and she survives him along with his daughter, Kimberly (Donald) Beach; two step-children, Dan (Jennifer) Cullom and Tonya (James) Vellema; four grandchildren, Lawrence III “JJ”, Devon, Madison and Lauren; and his dear friend Greg (Joanie) Ward “Bro”. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Lawrence Weis, Jr. A MEMORIAL LUNCHEON will be held from 1-3 PM Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Fruitport Eagles.
