Lee Edward Hartman's Obituary
Mr. Lee E. Hartman, age 92, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023 in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon on July 13, 1930 to Lawrence and Ruth (Barnhard) Hartman. Lee was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was employed by Continental Motors for 43 years prior to his retirement. Lee enjoyed watching sports, especially the Detroit Tigers and Lions. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing golf and was an active member of the Orchard View Congregational Church. On January 18, 1957, Lee married the former Audrey Hansen and she preceded him in death on January 4, 1990. He then married the former Phyllis Calvin on November 2, 2002 in Muskegon and she survives him along with his children, Michael Hartman, Anthony (Lisa) Hartman, Larry Hartman, and LeeAnne (Randy) Bean; step-children, Bruce Smith and Tabitha Smith; grandchildren, Jennifer Hartman, Justin (Ella) Bean, and Austin (Kaitlyn) Bean; step-grandchildren, Andrew Bridges, Chazity Bridges, Patrick Bridges, Mason Estlick, Jory Smith, Josy Smith, Jalyn Ellis, Jordan Smith, and Maverick Colon; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Leonard (Marilyn) Hartman; and special nephew, Irving (Joan) Cryderman. In addition to his first wife, Audrey, Lee was preceded in death by his parents and step-son, Patrick Bridges. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 2:00 PM Monday, July 17, 2023 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442 with Rev.
