Mr. Lee Joseph Plant's Obituary
Mr. Lee Joseph Plant, age 51, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 29, 2014 in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon on June 27, 1963 to Donald E. and Judy K. (McCoy) Plant and was a life resident of the area. Lee had worked for many years as a woodworker and cabinet maker before suffering a heart attack in 2006 and becoming disabled. He was a member of the Fruitport Eagles. Lee enjoyed playing golf, watching football, and watching NASCAR. He is survived by his companion of 30 years, Karen K. Smith; one daughter, Rose Smith; one grandson, Payton; one sister, LaNee` S. (James) Tice and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel L. Smith and his parents. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 4, 2014 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100. MEMORIALS may be made to the NOAH Project.
