Lee Ann Zacek's Obituary
Lee Ann Zacek, age 80, of Fruitport passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Robbinswood Assisted Living in Grand Haven. She was born April 16, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois to William and Alyce (Jorgenson) Roeder, and married Ralph Henry Zacek on April 23, 1966.
Lee taught third grade at Schilling School in Lockport, Illinois until her retirement in 2006. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spring Lake. Her other interests were gardening flowers and boating with her husband.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband Ralph Zacek; daughter, Dana Armsworth; son, Ryan (Anne) Zacek; three grandchildren: Kelsey and Madison Armsworth and Trevor Zacek; her sister, Penny Roeder; two brothers, Terry (Pam) Roeder and William (Starla) Roeder; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2021, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. David Gross as celebrant. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the mass. Memorial contributions to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or Hospice of North Ottawa Community are appreciated.
