Leigh Bloomfield's Obituary
Mr. Leigh Bloomfield, age 88, of Douglas, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020. He was born October 3, 1932 in Grand Rapids to Jay and Beatrice (Lee) Bloomfield.
Leigh graduated from Rockford High School and attended Michigan State University, which lead to his lifelong cheering for MSU sports. For over 30 years he served as a realtor, which was something he really loved doing. Leigh enjoyed country music and playing his guitar. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by two daughters: Michelle (Stephen) O’Connor, and Dawn (Timothy) Kleyla; seven grandchildren: Christopher O’Connor, Thomas (Kim) O’Connor, Erin (Brad Roesner) O’Connor, Maggie (Ben) Whittle, Stephen O’Connor, Sophia Kleyla, and Timothy Kleyla; five great-grandchildren; brother, Larry; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia; brothers, Jack and Les.
