The world was a better place with the love that my Uncle. Lee shared with everyone he knew. Being the first grandchild and only living a couple of blocks away I received a lot of that love, Among other things like ice cream with nuts (lots of nuts) and Hershey chocolate!!! Life was good. My uncle Lee built his own home when I was very young and I remember playing in the huge sand piles with Dickie (Richard Tyler). Uncle Lee taught me how to pound a nail and when I would miss the nail I would get a hug and he would kiss my little finger and hand me another nail. I have pounded many nails since then and I will forever remember the special times spent with him.
My uncle had a beautiful radio and record player. I'd play old songs like: Blue Berry Hill, The Three Little Fishies and some Patsy Cline. Aunt Elaine would dance and sing with me. Yes, again I had it good and then came Betsy and stoled my thunder. She was so cute the first baby I had ever known (how special was that)! Little does she know she started my love of babies.
We are born into this world helpless and we leave the world helpless. But the friends we meet along the way and all the priceless memories of our loved ones follow us forever imbedded in our hearts!
God has received a golden angel and we now have another guardian angel!
Until we meet again in Heaven.
Love eternal,
Lynn Ann
