Lelton Edward Nail's Obituary
Lelton Edward Nail, age 75, of Nunica passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at home. He was born July 9, 1948, in Banner, Arkansas, to John Edward and Evelyn (Martin) Nail. In 1979, he married the former Denise Darlene Dotson in Detroit, Michigan.
Lelton graduated from Walled Lake High School. He then joined the Navy and served his country in the Vietnam war. He owned and operated Wolverine Rock Bit, supplying the oil industry drill bits for many years. Lelton enjoyed staying up to date on the current events and happenings in the world. He also enjoyed woodworking and taking his dog Bo, for long walks.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Denise Nail; son, Jasen (Kayla) Nail; eleven grandchildren: Sean, Deven, Dylen, Isaiah, Aleiah, Eli, Ahnalee, Ava, Lana, Austin and Owen; four great-grandchildren; and his sister, Marge “Maggie” Nail-Bingham. In addition to his parents, Lelton was preceded in death by two sons, Keven and Dusten Nail.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery.
