Dear Pat, Cathy, Lisa and families. Mike and I are very sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Leo. I have always admired Uncle Leo for his tenacity and determination of running his own successful company. He accomplished many great things and will always be remembered for his generousity and knack for always having a good joke to tell. One of my fondest memories of Uncle Leo is when I was younger, he would come to visit my Mom and Dad and he always managed to find money in my ears. May you always remember all the good times and please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time.

I met Leo at Canterbury. He ate at my my mother-in-law's (Lynn Schneider) feeding table every day.

I will miss him. He is a very special man. I enjoyed sharing Canada stories with him as well as talking about the auto industry.

Dear Pat, Cathy, Lisa and families. Our deepest sympathies on the passing of your father.
My fondest memory of Uncle Leo was the time I stole his shoes.
It was on one of his many visits to our house while he was taking a 15 minute nap on our couch. I was 5 or 6 at the time and decided to place his pristine shoes on my feet.
I proudly paraded around the neighborhood telling everyone that I had my Uncle Leo's shoes on. A few minutes later Uncle Leo came outside and the chase was on.
I was determined not to let him catch me and soon all the neighbors were out cheering me on. With those great big shoes I didn't get far before he caught me.
He was trying to be mad but just could not control his laughter.
It was something he never let me forget....and how could I?

My sincere condolence on the news of Leo's passing. I have fond memories of trips to Muskegon with Leo and Pat in the 70's. There were many nice family visits that we shared. I recall Leo as a vibrant positive role model, he will be remembered and missed.

Dear Leo's Family,
We are sorry for the loss of your father/grandfather. We are so pleased and proud to have known Leo and call him a true friend. David remembers him in many ways helping the Harbour Towne Yacht Club. He was instrumental in obtaining much needed financing at a critical time in the Clubs early life. He lent his knowledge and talent to supervise the building of the fireplace in the Club room. He also braged of being the only volunteer fired as a drywaller when we were finishing the men's restroom in the Harbourview Room. It took more time to sand off the "finish" he applied than it did for him to do the work. What we miss most about him is his ability to motivate people with his no nonsense-can do attitude in every thing he did. God broke the mold after he was born. His sense of humor and stories were a delight. We are sorry we can not be with you to celebrate his life and morn his passing but our thoughts are with you today.

Dear Pat,Cathy and Lisa - My condolences. I was very saddened to hear about your father's passing. As you know, I had the privilege of serving your father as one of his professional advisors for several years. Please know that your father had a profound influence on me. In serving him, he always "keep me on my toes". And, as a result of that, I am not only a much better advisor, but a much better person. When I meet your father I may have had all of the necessary technical skills, but not necessarily all of the crucial relationship skills. He taught me about the importance of client relationships. He loved to tell jokes, especially in front of a large audience (a great example....the Phaneuf girls' weddings.)
