Mr. Leo. L. Powers, age 91, died Friday afternoon, June 16, 2006, at Mercy Hospital. He was born August 23, 1914 in St. Johns, Michigan and has resided in the Muskegon area since 1936. He retired in 1977 from Shaw-Walker Co. where he had been employed 40 years. Leo married the former Myrtle Burnham, of Newaygo, in 1935 and she preceded him in death on April 23, 1989. Leo was a U.S. Army WW II veteran, a Life Member of Disabled American Veterans Post 11, a Golden-Age member and Past-President of F.O. Eagles Aerie 668, a member of Northside Seniors, Old Newsboys, Fiesta Village Church of Mission, TX and of Sheridan Drive Baptist Church. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. SERVICES will be 10 AM Monday at Sheridan Drive Baptist Church. VISITATION will be 7-9PM Sunday at
