Dr. Leo Aram Raphaelian, age 81, of Spring Lake, MI (formerly of Wilmette, IL) passed away peacefully from natural causes and with family members by his side on May 21, 2014. Leo was born on November 30, 1932 in Newton, MA to Ara Read Obituary
I am so sorry. I had no idea that my University of Chicago friend Paul had such an accomplished father. My 79-year old mother has just become gravely ill and I am now coming to accept that I may not have her for long. Belatedly, my thoughts are with you.

I'm so sorry for your great loss; what a legacy he leaves! It's so ennobling to read of the works of other sons of Roxbury Latin and Leo's were so varied. The school's mission, to prepare young men for lives of service to church and Commonwealth appears to have been achieved in full. Those works live on through you, his family, and through his many professional achievements. The school's missionlth appears to have been achieved in full.
