Leo Edward Harman, Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Leo Edward Harman Sr., Age 92, passed away Saturday morning, December 17, 2011. Leo was born in Tucker County, West Virginia to Edward and Virginia (Groves) Harman on May 12, 1919. He has lived in the Muskegon area since his childhood. Leo served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He married the former Patricia Boucher on February 6, 1942 and she preceded him in death on January 1, 2004. Leo worked at Anaconda Wire and Amazon prior to his retirement. He had been a long time member of the Vikings as well as the Eagles. He is survived by his 2 children, Leo E. Harman, Jr. and William W. Harman, both of Muskegon; a sister, Reva Israelson of Florida; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Mr. Harman was also preceded in death by his daughter, Vee Ann Dyga on February 7, 1999. In accordance with his wishes, private family services will be held. Interment will be in Mona View Cemetery.
