Nick and family:

We were sorry to hear about the death of your father. I could not help but to think back to when we were kids and the great ice rink that he would build for you and all of the fun that we had there or the times we would be over and how he would refer to one of us as the Sheriff, and of course his dog Pixie. Dear LeAnn:
I was sorry to read about Leo's passing. I can't believe our dads passed 10 days apart. I know just how odd this time probably feels for you, relief for him and strange for you. All the time you spent with Leo is now empty and weird. Your dad was a very nice man, always friendly, and when he was able, he could go up 200 hall on his walker with the best of them..
I think about my dad and how intense the last 12 days were and how good they were at the same time. The memories of those 12 days and the thought that he's with my mom make me smile, and know how much better off he is now.
