Leon was my probation officer when I was a child. He was kind, honest, stern, and supportive. He believed in me and he tried to help me any way he could. He gave me advice, told me the truth, showed me respect and empathy when others wouldn't, and he even took care of my newt when I went to foster care. He was a great role model and I am thankful to have had him in my life. I will never forget him.
Leon and his brother Steve would come out to our farm to pheasant hunt in the fall and in the spring they would be back with there bow arrows to shoot carp in the flooded fields behind our farm by the river. We always look forward to see them. The carroll Snyder Family.
