Leonard D. Dykstra's Obituary
Leonard D. Dykstra, age 81, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 at home. He was born on September 2, 1939 to Leonard and Marion (Shupp) Dykstra in Muskegon, MI and was a lifelong resident. He worked for many years as a machinist for a manufacturing company. On December 3, 1960 he married the love of his life the former Virginia Peklar. Together they cherished 56 years of marriage full of endless memories. She preceded him in death on June 9, 2017. He enjoyed working with his hands and had a talent for wood working, building numerous bird houses. Leonard was what many would call an avid keno player, which he would play every other day. He also enjoyed spending time at the casino. He will truly be missed. He is survived by his 2 children; David (Judith) Dykstra and Diane (Rene Gonzalez) Wiggers; 4 grandchildren, Barb (Rich), Zach (Amanda), David and Autumn (James); and 1 great-grandchild, Paige. He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Virginia Dykstra; and son-in-law, Raymond Wiggers. There will be no services at this time.
