Leonard Clifton Moore's Obituary
Mr. Leonard Clifton Moore, age 83, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2007 at a local hospital. He was born December 10, 1923 in Delmar, Delaware. Mr. Moore retired from Sealed Power where he was a photographer. After retiring, he enjoyed working at Russ’. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in WWII. He was a member of Westwood Reformed Church where he was a sound technician, an attendance counter, and had worked with building and grounds for many years. He was also very active in the church’s Wednesday night programs. On September 9, 1953 he married Helen Johnson in Muskegon. She survives him along with 1 sister-in-law, Sharon Johnson of Tenn. and his beloved dog, Tassie. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Ralph Johnson. Services will be 11:00AM Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at Westwood Reformed Church (3025 Glenside Blvd.) with Reverend David B. Willerup officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
