Leonard F. Johnson's Obituary
Mr. Leonard F. Johnson, age 86, passed away early this morning, May 19, 2009 in Muskegon. He was born January 22, 1923 in Muskegon Heights to Frank A. and Hilma (Holmberg) Johnson, and lived in the Muskegon area all of his life. Mr. Johnson worked for Warmington Beverage for many years before retiring, was a WWII U.S. Army veteran, a longtime member of Tatra Hall, and a member of Samuel Lutheran Church. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing, Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake. On September 1, 1950 he married Lucille M. Hall. SURVIVORS include his wife, Lucille; 2 sons, Leland (Karen) Johnson of N. Muskegon, Larry (Roxann) Johnson of N. Muskegon; 4 grandchildren, Tara, Jaramia (Jessica), Jeremy (Jodi), Jason (Aimee); 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, and 1 brother, Kenneth Johnson.
