Leonette Nina Ebert-Drewes' Obituary
Leonette “Lee†(Potes) Ebert-Drewes age 95 of Ravenna, died Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Agape Blueberry Fields assisted living home surrounded by her loving family.
Leonette was born on July 3, 1918 in Kalkaska, Michigan to the late Herbert and Lydia (Bartholomue) Potes. She married John Ebert and he preceded her in death. She also married Henry Drewes and he also preceded her in death. She worked as a telephone operator until her retirement. She was a character, she enjoyed family gatherings, Card games, telling stories, pets, wild flowers and country life.
Leonette is survived by: 2 Daughters: Darlene S. (Donald) Mercer of Twin Lake and Mary Jane (Larry) Mahn of Ravenna. 6 Grandchildren: Debbie and Nancy White, Terri (Rudy) Bartels, Randy and Kelly Mahn, Gary (Pam) Mahn. 10 Great Grandchildren: Dakota, Allison, Tanner, Zakary Mahn and Becca, Jagger McGrady, RJ and Jenny Bartels and Jim Smith, Amanda (Zack) Webb, Rebecca Hronek and Alan Miller. 2 Great Great Grandchildren: Adriana and Briella Webb.
She was preceded in death in addition tor her parents and husbands by: 4 Brothers and 5 Sisters.
Funeral Services for Leonette N. Drewes were held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna with Pastor Carl Black officiating. Burial was in Sullivan Township Cemetery.
