Leslie "Les" L. Cox's Obituary
Mr. Leslie L. “Les” Cox, age 76, died Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. He was born on July 29, 1941 in Owosso, MI to Glen and Mildred (Hnetynka) Cox. Les worked for Napa Auto Parts for 44 years, and owned the Muskegon Automotive (Napa Store) on Laketon Ave. for 19 years. He enjoyed traveling, life, and especially spending time with his family. On September 2, 1961, he married the former Janice Tomasiewicz, and she preceded Les in death in 2004. SURVIVORS include 2 sons, Scott (Tracy) Cox of Norton Shores, and Rob Cox of Muskegon; 2 grandchildren, Aaron Cox and Kadie Cox; sister, Judy (Ivan) Cottrell of Cumming, GA; and brother, Jim Cox of Norton Shores. Les was also preceded in death by his parents, and in-laws. MEMORIAL SERVICES will be 1PM Sunday, January 28, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 12-1PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Harbor Hospice, or St. Jude Children’s Hospital will be appreciated.
