This is sooo late. I have been here and left so many times, because, like Ilona, the right words just do not come. Most people do not understand the closeness and camaraderie that develops with years of daily in-game association. I first met Lewis (Ketan) in 2005 when I joined my wife in Valorguard. He was, in fact, the first person to group with us after I arrived. We remember the auto parts deliveries, the icy morning newspaper deliveries, the jokes in Skype, and an occasional falling asleep at the keyboard when a mission went overly long.
For Lewis, it was never about what he needed or wanted - it was always about helping others. He will never be forgotten.

.... I've backspaced on this post so many times. It's impossible to find the right words to let his family know how kind and wonderful this man was to us... and how deeply he will be missed. Always willing to lend a hand; always welcoming ... He was family and his passing will leave a gap in all our lives.
/salute Ketan. You've moved on to the Plane of Heaven. I hope there is a decent raiding guild up there to welcome you ;)

I really enjoyed grouping in EQ with Ketan while playing my cleric Katrinnie. He was so friendly, helpful and nice. There will forever be a big smiley face next to his name on my mental sticky notes. He will be missed. /shakes her pom-poms for Ketan & his family. (so sorry for your loss!!)
Lewis's "Everquest On-line family" is devastated and sadden by the news of his passing. He was a big part of our lives and we spent many hours chatting and playing everquest with Ketan (his everquest beastlord). We can not express the impact and how he touched our lives. Lewis was always there to help and crack a joke. We are all still in shock and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I just wanted to say he touched many lives and has left a big hole in our hearts and lives. /Salute Sir Ketan...aka Lewis /hugs Fur ball safe travels, Kimer aka Kim Gann Everquest Druidess
My heart is heavy with sadness. I grew up with "Big" Lew and have fond memories of our childhood. Lewie was my closest of friends during our teen years and was one heck of a basketball player. I think maybe his height had something to do with that. After High School I enlisted in the USAF and we were never able to meet up again. I tried over the years and it was just never meant to be. I guess the chances are now gone until we meet again. My thoughts and prayers go out to his Mom and Betty. May the Lord watch over and comfort you in this time of deep sorrow. I agree with "Cork" Edsall, another childhood friend, the lives of Lewie and Lois were take way to soon. RIP "Big" Lew until I see you again. Jerry Stone, Roy Utah
Wow! Sorry to hear of Lew's passing. Have very fond memories of playing baseball, basketball and football with him as a kid. After reading his obit, I didn't know that Lois had passed away also. Both were way to young.
My prayers go out to the entire family.
R.I.P. "Big" Lew!!
