Mr. Lewis M. Peck's Obituary
Mr. Lewis M. Peck, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in Muskegon. He was born on September 5, 1932 to Herbert and Ethel (Converse) Peck in Barryton, MI. On June 21, 1958, Lewis married the former Charlotte Tompsett in Howard City, MI. Lewis was an active member of Central United Methodist Men’s Group. He was a member of the Pontiac Lions Club. Lewis was a talented salesman who enjoyed working with people and excelled in serving others. He had a special talent for putting others at ease and making them feel welcome. He had a beautiful singing voice. He was interested in people, politics, and sports. He loved raising fruit and vegetables in his garden and loved to cook and entertain. He fed the birds every day and was loved by dogs and cats. Lewis will be lovingly missed by his wife of 59 years, Charlotte; daughters, Rebecca (Edgar) Cahoon and Joyce (Stephen) Browne; granddaughter, Jessica Browne; brother, Colonel H.J. (Nita) Peck, Jr., and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Ethel Peck. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 2:30PM with visitation beginning at 1:30PM at Central United Methodist Church in Muskegon, MI. Memorials can be directed to Harbor Hospice or Central United Methodist Church. Arrangements entrusted to The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100.
