Lillian Frances Lawrence's Obituary
Lillian “Grandma Jones†F. Lawrence age 97, of Muskegon, MI, danced her way to heaven Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Sanctuary at McAuley surrounded by her loving family.
Lillian was born on November 25, 1918 in Montague, MI to the late Giles and Jessie (Ames) Stewart. She married Orville Jones who preceded her in death in 1977. She then married Clyde Lawrence who preceded her in death 2002.
Lillian is survived by: 1 Son: Kenneth (Jodi) Jones of N. Carolina and 1 Daughter: Carroll (Ronald) Snell of Muskegon. Daughter In-law: Pam Jones of Byron Center, MI. Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren. 3 Brothers: Elliot (Joyce) Stewart of Muskegon, William (Helen) Stewart of Ravenna and Roy Stewart of Muskegon. 2 Sisters: Doris Underhill of Muskegon and Maryann VanderVelde of Holland. 2 Special friends: Johnny (Cheryl) Mitchell, and Betty Bond both of Muskegon.
She was preceded in death by parents, Husbands, 4 Daughters: Betty Jean Jones, Shirley Hilton, Arlene Carpenter and May Wisneski. Son: Jerry Jones. 4 Sisters: Clara, Pearl, Violet and Louise.
Funeral Services for Lillian will be conducted on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 11:00am at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna with Dr. Zawdie Abiade officiating. Burial will be in Ravenna Township Cemetery.
The family will be at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna for 1 hour prior to service to greet friends.
