Lillian Morse's Obituary
Mrs. Lillian Morse, age 93, of Marne passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at home. She was born December 15, 1924 in Grand Rapids to Dexter and Nellie (Lamoreaux) Morsman. On February 9, 1950 she married Leslie Morse in South Bend, Indiana and he preceded her in death on February 5, 1977.
Lillian was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marne and was also a member of the Altar Society. In 1987 she retired from Bissell after 35 years of working there. When she had the time, she loved to travel and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dexter and Nellie; sister, Rose Aileen Morsman; step-brother and sister, Charles and Ruth Parkins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 AM Saturday, February 10, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marne (15164 Juniper Dr. Marne, MI 49435). Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will take place in Allendale Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
