Lillian J. Stratton, age 84, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017, in Grand Rapids. She was born on November 25, 1932 to Everett and Emma (Howard) Givens in McHenry, KY. Lillian was a past member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. SURVIVORS include 5 children, Kathy (Dean) Jewett, Steven (Andrea) Stratton, Gwen Reagan, Dawn (Dennis) Dirheimer and Susan Stratton; 14 grandchildren, Chad (Jennifer) Reagan, Deanna Billings, Cori (Josh) Geoghan, Kyle (Ali) Jewett, Jake (Sara Grace) Jewett, Sara (Ben) Curtis, Patrick Jewett, Ryan Dirheimer, Brandon Dirheimer, Jessica Dirheimer, Trevor Dirheimer, Alayna Stratton, Paige Stratton and Luke Stratton; 9 great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Casey, Oliver, Raymond, Maria, Hannah, Vincent, Owen, and Jane; brother, Gene Givens; sister, Lois Ferguson; half-brother, Benny (Hazel) Givens and half-sister, Linda (Brownie) Hampton. Lillian was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Timothy Reagan; sister, Juanita Brown and half-brother, Donald Givens. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Antony Britto presiding. VISITATION with the family will be from 5pm – 8pm on Monday at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100. MEMORIALS can be directed to Alzheimer’s Association. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
