Lillian B. Brandt's Obituary
Mrs. Lillian B. Brandt, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, age 86, died Thursday evening, April 1, 2004. She was born March 27, 1918 in Lake Leelanau, MI to George and Mary (Horton) Gauthier and had lived in Muskegon since 1928. Mrs. Brandt had worked for the E.H. Sheldon Co. for 7 years. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. On July 20, 1935, she married Gerald A. Brandt in Muskegon, and he preceded her in death on March 11, 2000. SURVIVORS include 2 daughters, Linda (Duane) Ford of Bitely, Jacqueline Houseman of Muskegon; 3 grandchildren, Kristine (Patrick) Fitzgerald, Raelyn (Paul) Geldaker, Anne (Tom) Windberg; 7 great-grandchildren, Erik, Luke, Jackson, Drake, Isaac, Samuel, and Karson. She was also preceded in death by her son, Gerald Brandt, Jr.; son-in-law, Raymond Houseman; and 8 siblings. THE FUNERAL LITURGY will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Fr. Phil Sliwinski presiding. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. VISITATION will be from 2-4 PM Sunday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. (231) 726-5210 with a scripture service held at 3:00 PM.
