Lillian E Kleyn's Obituary
Lillian E. Kleyn, age 73, passed away peacefully, Tuesday evening, March 29, 2011 at the Heartwood Lodge in Spring Lake following a courageous battle with A.L.S. Lillian was born in Muskegon on January 15, 1938 to Adrian and Dorothy (Griffin) Kleyn and was a 1957 graduate of Muskegon Heights High School. Prior to her retirement in 1999, Miss Kleyn was employed at Hackley Bank now Comerica Bank for 39 years and in later years as a courier between different branch offices. Lillian was a talented quilter and sewer and every Monday enjoyed hosting a group of friends at her home to share in their art. She was also a member of PALS, a West Michigan quilting group. She is survived by: her sister, Florence M. Paulson of Norton Shores; three nieces, Lynn (Jon) Anderson, Lisa (Chuck) Pelfrense and Pat Miller; a nephew, Mark (Lori) Paulson; and five grand nieces and nephews, Adrian, Lauryn, Steven, Matthew and Nicole. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at: The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100, 11:00 A.M., Friday, April 15, 2011 with Pastor Paul Urban officiating. Visitation: the family will begin greeting friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial Contributions: A.L.S. Society or Hospice of North Ottawa Community. She will be laid to rest in Spring Lake Cemetery.
