Lillian Elise Amundson's Obituary
Lillian Elise Amundson, age 89, entered into eternal life Thursday evening in Waterford, MI following a long illness. She was born in Muskegon Heights on May 27, 1921 to Edwin and Elisa (Christenson) Englund and was a graduate of Muskegon Hts. H.S. Lillian married Mr. Clifford O. Amundson on January 14, 1949. He preceded her in death in May 1999. In earlier years, Lillian was employed at Continental Motors and retired in 1980 from Whittaker Electric where she was a payroll clerk. She was a life long member of Samuel Lutheran Church and was a member of the Viking Linne Lodge and the Sons of Norway. Lillian enjoyed cooking, dancing with Cliff and being with her family. She is survived by, her daughter, Marlene (Greg) Kehoe of Beverly Hills, MI, their four children, Christin (Andrew) Brown, twins, Matthew & Jeffrey and Lyndsie Kehoe, and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her, brother, Harold Englund and sister, Linnea Nygren. The funeral service will be held at: The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 11:00 A.M., Monday, Pastor Marcy Miller officiating. Visitation: Sunday, 2-5 P.M. Interment: Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions: Samuel Lutheran Church.
