Lillian O. Hundersmarck's Obituary
Mrs. Lillian O. Hundersmarck, age 97, passed away Monday evening, November 22, 2004. She was born in Ludington on January 27, 1907 to Daniel and Christine (Asplund) Erickson and had been a resident of Muskegon since 1946. She married Fred Hundersmarck on December 1, 1952 and he preceded her in death along with her parents, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters. Mrs. Hundersmarck was a member of Evanston Ave. Baptist Church and was the secretary to the director of Goodwill Industries in Muskegon for many years. Lillian was active in working with the blind, teaching Braille, and transcribing into Braille. She will be remembered by her 3 nieces, 3 nephews, and their families. She will also be remembered by childhood friend, Mildred Mohr of Muskegon and Dan and Cheryl Fullmer of Muskegon who were very special friends of Lillian’s that encouraged and helped her and her family. Services will be 2PM Friday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Ave., 231-726-5210 with Rev. Roy Williamson and Rev. Al Engstrom officiating. Visitation with the family will be 6-8PM Wednesday at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Goodwill Inc. or Evanston Avenue Baptist Church.
