Linda was such a good friend and one of the most kind, compassionate and caring human beings I have ever known. We used to joke that I taught her to laugh and she taught me to cry, but the reality is I learned so much more than that from her. I am so sad that my friend's light no longer shines in this world. My thoughts are with her wife Petra and all her family members. She loved you all dearly.
Linda and I worked at Vitas together. We had great discussions and she was always supportive. When I had concerns about patients or family Linda would always listen and give advice. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. Petra, I am so glad she had you. Will have both of you in my prayers. Karen Spadaro

We worked with Linda for many years during her career at hospice. For every Volunteer Training class during that time, Linda shared a special perspective on spirituality. Linda was always the favorite speaker. We will never forget her smile, her gigantic heart, and her willingness to offer support and love to everyone in need. She was the soft shoulder, the comforting voice, the joyful laugh.
Linda was the one who never disappointed. Linda provided hospice services for all the right reasons. She must have understood that she was God's #1 missionary to those seeking solace, understanding and peace. She always gave her absolute best to that mission. I'm sure there will be lots of open arms welcoming her to whatever comes next. She was one of the good ones, and the void and loss of knowing she is physically gone feels profound. Farewell dear friend.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of having Linda babysit for me as a young girl. I remember her kindness and how much fun she was to be around.

I had the wonderful experience of working with both Linda and Petra 20+ years ago in hospice. Linda always had a smile and a kind word for everyone she encountered. Just knowing her, and Petra also enriched my life. Linda fulfilled God's earthly plan for her, and called her home. Sending prayers for comfort and peace for Petra, Linda's family and friends.
