Linda Jo Copeland's Obituary
Linda Jo Copeland, age 72, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025. She was born April 20, 1953, in Muskegon, MI, to Francis and Violet (Johnson) Janes. Linda graduated from Mona Shores High School and attended Muskegon Community College. Linda spent 46 years in the healthcare industry, working as a cardiovascular technician for both Hackley Hospital and Mercy Hospital before retiring in 2016. She was an auxiliary member of the VFW Post #3195. In her free time, Linda found joy in caring for children, genealogy research, gardening, feeding and watching birds, boating, and visiting casinos. She also cherished traveling with her family, particularly trips to Florida, where they made memories together enjoying the ocean and shelling. SURVIVORS include three sons, Keith (Jaime) Copeland, Douglas Blair Copeland, Jr., and Cory (Cassie) Copeland; three grandchildren, McKenzie Thomas, Spencer Copeland, and Sebastian Copeland; sister, Pam Patterson; three nieces, Tammy (Rob) Ruiter, Shelly Ellingboe, and Tracy (Monte) Wehr; and nephew, Christopher (Lisa) Pesch. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Tristan Copeland; and sister, Sandra Tate. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026, with the time and location to be determined. She will be laid to rest in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
