Mary Philipp
in honor of Linda.
I met Linda in 1969 when , after filling out a long questionnaire about how many fractions of an inch we like the window open at night, we were placed together as roommates in college. From adventures with her in Portugal, to lilac filled birthday parties amongst the lilacs..we were friends from then on.
In 1973, we were placed side by side to walk down the quad and graduate.
That was when we figured out, we were next to each other alphabetically,
Oudsema and Philipp....so I guess it was fate, either way, that brought us together.
We could have fun just about anywhere, and
her kindness was an incomparable blessing.
I will miss her forever.
