Linda R. Kleyn's Obituary
Linda R. Kleyn, 74, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023, in Muskegon. She was born September 26, 1948, to Donald and Maxine (Aderhold) Kleyn in Muskegon and lived in the Chicago area for several years before moving back to Muskegon in 2016. Linda retired from administration at Elim Christian School in Chicago in 2015, after being an educator for 45 years. She loved her work and everyone she worked with. She belonged to Port City Church in Muskegon. Survivors include one brother, Brian (Barbra) Kleyn, one sister-in-law Debra Kleyn, nieces and nephews, Ashley, Steven, Abby, Jeffrey, and Christopher, several great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother David. A service to remember and celebrate Linda’s life will be held Thursday, May 11, at 2:00 PM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6491 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Restlawn Cemetery. Contributions in Linda’s memory may be made to the Harbor Hospice Foundation or Elim Christian School.
