Linda L. Kramer's Obituary
Linda L. Kramer, age 76, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022. She was born on November 23, 1945 in Muskegon. Linda will be fondly remembered by many. She was an incredible artist with the imagination to create anything. If she saw something she liked, she would go home and make it. From stained glass to glass beads, her skill was top notch. Linda would crochet, knit, and was an amazing seamstress. She enjoyed making baby blankets, quilts, Halloween costumes, prom dresses, and even wedding gowns, including her own. Linda loved spending time taking care of her perennial gardens, Koi ponds, and enjoyed exploring nature. She hatched Monarch butterflies, knew the names of every flower, weed, bug, and even most rocks. She was an adventurer, taking spontaneous road trips with many U-turns, her favorites being, camping next to any river in Colorado or visiting little towns Up North. On December 13, 1963 she married Gerald “The Builder” Kramer and together they cherished many years together. Jerry preceded Linda in death on July 10, 2022. SURVIVORS include four children, Mark (Kelly) Kramer, Aleschia (Patrick) Loughridge, Heidi (Tal) Holmes and Lesley (Scott) Fisher; 10 grandchildren, Cole, Paige, Conner, Sydney, Tiffany, Taylor, TJ, Amaya, Jake and Ryan; two great-grandchildren, Alba and Tommy; three sisters, Valerie Grant, Debbie (Bruce) Gillies, and Candy (Gary) Harris; and beloved dog, Carmella. Linda was also preceded in death by her mother, Pat Braun; father, Robert Sternburgh; and brother, Johnny Braun. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, October, 1, 2022, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444, with a time of sharing starting at 3:00PM. Memorial Contributions in Linda’s honor can be made to Love Inc. of Grand Haven.
