Linda Sue Ludlow's Obituary
Linda Sue Ludlow, age 72, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. She was born on December 22, 1951, to Charles and Josephine (Johnson) Mumper in Shelby, MI. On September 25, 1971, she married the love of her life, James Ludlow, and they were able to spend 52 wonderful years together.
Linda was a familiar face in the Twin Lake area, having worked at the Twin Lake Elementary School as a playground attendant and as part of the school PTA. She also worked at John’s Market and the Cargo gas station for a number of years. She enjoyed camping at Lucky Lake and on their family property. She liked doing crafts and always seemed to be on her phone, usually talking with her children. She loved her grandkids and was their #1 fan in everything they did. Linda was blessed to be surrounded by a close family and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Linda will be dearly missed by her husband, Jim; sons, Bob (Tara) Ludlow and Steve Ludlow; grandchildren, Andrew Storck, Thomas Ludlow, Alyssa Herbert, Trever Ludlow, and Aubrey Ludlow; brother, Don Coon; sisters, Peggy (Bob) Hughey and Debbie Small; and stepsister, Anita Koehler. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Larry Mumper.
A FUNERAL SERVICE will be 11 AM on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services (6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444). VISITATION with the family will take place on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 6-8 PM at The Lee Chapel. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS in honor of Linda may be directed to Pound Buddies of Muskegon.
