Mrs. Linda Rose Neal's Obituary
Mrs. Linda Rose Neal, age 69, of North Muskegon, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017. Linda was born on July 12, 1948 to Pedro and Luciana (Cardenas) Merlo in Detroit, Michigan. On April 8, 1995, she married the love of her life, Gerald Neal, in Inkster, Michigan. Linda regularly attended Prince of Peace Catholic Church in North Muskegon. She loved gardening, and was passionate about her flowers. Linda also loved spending time with her grandchildren, camping and fishing. Linda is survived by her husband, Gerald; children, Robert Mendoza, Theresa Mendoza, Sylvia Mendoza, Catherine (David) Lay, Dawn Brenton and by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1100 Dykstra Rd. Visitation will be 4-7PM Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 E. Apple Ave., 231-726-5210. Memorial Contributions can be made to the North American Indian Association, Goodwill or Habitat for Humanity.
