Linda Mae Sahlhoff's Obituary
Mrs. Linda Mae Sahlhoff, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 30, 1943 to Albert and Olga (Secrest) Kull. Linda graduated from Indiana University with a Master of Education. She taught in Indiana and Twin Lake prior to joining her husband, Dr. Richard Sahlhoff, where she spent many years as the Office Manager. Linda was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was active with the quilting group, the church choir, and oversaw the funeral lunch committee for many years. She loved her home on West Lake, relaxing in the sun, sailing, and swimming. Linda also enjoyed scuba diving, reading, quilting, and family trips to Mackinac Island. On August 29, 1964, Linda married Richard Lee Sahlhoff in South Bend, Indiana, and he survives her along with two children, Christian Sahlhoff and Amy (Brad) Damm; five grandchildren, Alyssa Sahlhoff, Madison Sahlhoff, Megan (Chris) Morris, Garrett (Kaleigh) Damm, and Ryan Damm; one great-granddaughter, Isabella; and her twin sister, Patricia “Patty” McFeters. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas Kull; sister, Judy Kull; and brother-in-law, Raymond McFeters. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Friday, October 4, 2024 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Bill Uetricht officiating.
