Linda Rae Sapone's Obituary
Linda Rae Sapone, age 69, passed away November 24, 2016 under the care and company of her family. She was born on October 16, 1947 to Calvin and Amanda (DeYoung) Johnson in Muskegon. Linda worked 23 years at Lakeside Manor A.F.C. On June 16, 1967 Linda married Charles and he preceded her in death on March 28, 2007. SURVIVORS include 4 children, Rachel Sapone, Anthony (Patricia) Sapone, Angela Sapone and Nicholas (Michelle Kieft) Sapone, Sr.; 9 grandchildren, Anthony Sapone, Fiorello Powers, Santino Powers, Nicholas Sapone, Jr., Gracibelle Sapone, Noah Sapone, Milo Sapone, LolaJayne Sapone, and Nina Hollinshead; 2 great-grandchildren, D’Anthony Nunez and Carina Nunez; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Linda was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Major; infant grandson, Sapone/Alvarez; granddaughter, MiaBella Angelia Sapone; and niece, Kalie Major. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., 231-726-5210 with Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson presiding. VISITATION with the family will be held from 4-7 PM Monday, November 28 at The Sytsema Chapel, with a public Rosary being prayed at 3:30 PM. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS can be directed to Ronald McDonald House of Grand Rapids. BURIAL will take place at Lakeside Cemetery.
