On September 7, 1957, Linda married the love of her life, Dalen Tobey. Together, they shared 64 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and countless adventures. Their partnership was one of deep affection and mutual respect, creating a beautiful life full of cherished memories. A devoted member of New Heart Community Church, Linda was deeply involved in her church family. She enjoyed potlucks, volunteering when possible, and sharing her faith with those around her. Linda’s compassion and generosity shone through in everything she did, including her kindness to others. She took great joy in knitting hats for newborns at the hospital, a small but meaningful way she touched the lives of others. Linda had many passions in life, including reading, camping, traveling, and taking motorcycle rides with Dalen. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit, warmth, and care will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Craig Tobey; six grandchildren, Le Ann (Irving) McFarren, Nina (Robert) Florentine, Nikki Dawson, Angie Tobey, Michael (Sara) Earnest and Katherine (Kevin) Earnest; seven great-grandchildren, Paige, Wyatt, Robert, Samantha, Justin, Sage and Noah; two brothers, Charles Lawton and Donald Lawton; sister, Blanche Vanderstelt; sister-in-law, Kay Tobey; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
