Linda Elaine Westbrook's Obituary
Linda E. Westbrook, age 75, passed away on February 19, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Muskegon, MI., on October 1, 1948, to Laverne and Beverly (Murphy) Verhulst. Linda received her High School diploma in 1967 from Muskegon Catholic Central. She worked for Alcoa in Whitehall for over 30 years when she retired in 2010. Linda loved her grandkids and loved to spoil them. She enjoyed visiting fresh fruit and vegetable stands, baking cookies with her grandchildren, playing card games, reading, and preparing her signature macaroni salad and tapioca pudding. Linda is survived by her brother Durron (Ronnie) Verhulst and sister Patti (Butch) Conard her son, Thomas Westbrook; her daughter in law Tina Jahn and spouse Paul Grisham Sr; four grandchildren, Casey Westbrook, Jamie (Mason) Woessner, Jessica Westbrook and Bethany Westbrook; six great grandchildren, Daniel Cooper, Mae’lonnie Westbrook, Victor Westbrook II, Sophia Miller, Charles Taylor and Marcellus Taylor. She was preceded in death by her spouse of 52 years, Charles (Bud) Westbrook; brothers, Laverne (Mickey) Verhulst Jr. and Terry Verhulst; sisters, Pam Westerlund, and Betty Lillie; son, Victor Westbrook; and great grandchild Milo Woessner. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Sunday March 3rd, 2024, at 3:00 pm, at 2129 Arrowhead Dr. Muskegon, Michigan 49442.
