Linda Kay VanMunster's Obituary
Mrs. Linda Kay VanMunster, age 63, passed away Monday, September 22, 2008 at her home following a long illness. Linda was born October 25, 1944 to Peter and Goldie (Elwell) VanDyke in Muskegon. On April 3, 1976 she married Danny I. VanMunster. She was employed as the head housekeeper at Holiday Inn for 25 years, and then for a short time at Sam’s Club as a food demonstrator. Linda was a member of Central Assembly of God. She loved playing bingo, painting ceramics and artwork and spending mornings at Papa Bear’s Restaurant. She made the best banana bread around. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Danny; 3 brothers, Norman “Sonny” (Frances) VanDyke of Grand Haven, George (Marcia) VanDyke of Rothbury and Dick (Jackie) VanDyke of North Muskegon; 1 sister Joyce Peabody of Muskegon; and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved with her whole life; and great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Joanne Krogstad and Donna Jean Hall. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 26, 2008 at Central Assembly of God, 896 Home St. with Pastor Lowell Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Mona View Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 Thursday at
