Lindsay L. Jahn's Obituary
Mr. Lindsay L. Jahn, age 71, passed away Friday, November 26, 2010 at home surrounded by his family. He was born February 17, 1939 in Muskegon to Forrest and Josephine (Conetz) Jahn. He served in the U.S. Navy in Okinawa during peace time. He was employed by SPX, Hy-Lift Division for 31 years until retiring in 1996. He married the former Carol L. Kerberski in Montague on March 23, 1964. She survives him, along with 2 children, Philip (Kristina) Jahn of Twin Lake and Tina (Paul) Grisham of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren, Bethany and Jessica Westbrook and Karlie and Noah Jahn; 1 great-grandson, Daniel Cooper; and 1 brother Bobby (Karin) Jahn of Rothbury. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Forrest “Sonny” Jahn. Lindsay was a life member of the Fruitport Eagles and was an avid hunter, fisherman and wood-burning hobbyist. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 with Rev. Bob Lenz officiating. VISITATION will be Monday, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Sullivan Twp. Cemetery. MEMORIAL contributions may be made to Harbor Hospice.
