Lindsay Renee Bilka's Obituary
Lindsay Renee Bilka, age 17, passed away with her loving family at her side on Thursday, July 29, in Grand Rapids. Lindsay was born March 26, 1993 to Ken and Mary (Ross) Bilka in Muskegon, and was a life resident. She was a very caring and loving person who was always thinking of others. She was a Detroit Red Wings fan, a University of Michigan fan, and enjoyed writing. Lindsay was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS include her mother, Mary Bilka of Roosevelt Park; her father, Ken (Julie) Bilka of Norton Shores; 2 sisters, Stefanie (Dustin) Brown of Grand Haven, Christy Bilka of Roosevelt Park; her grandmother, Berdena Ross of Holland; 1 step-sister, Amanda Boss of Muskegon; 3 step-brothers, Adam (Stephanie) Boss of S. Carolina, Ryan and Lucas Cooper, both of Muskegon; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph and Mary Bilka. SERVICES for Lindsay will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 1132 Southern Ave., with Rev. Karen Biggerstaff officiating. Interment will take place at Mona View Cemetery. VISITATION at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. (231) 759-8565 will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Monday.
