Lindy Sue Carey's Obituary
Ms. Lindy Sue Carey, age 56, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011 at North Ottawa Community Hospital. She was born August 21, 1954 in Muskegon to Raymond and Shirley (Chingman) Carey and lived her entire life in the area. Lindy was a proud member of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians. SURVIVORS include her “old man” of 17 years, Felix Garza; 3 children, Rhonda (Scott) Chaney, James Carey, Mary (Jason) Wynn all of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren, Dakota (Kaitlyn) Chaney, Jessica, Dominique “Nikki” Chaney, Mason Wynn, Chase Wynn, Riley Wynn; 2 great-granddaughters, Brooklynn and Kilah Chaney; 1 brother, Carl “Tim” Carey of Muskegon; 1 sister, Donna Sarber of Rothbury; and special friends, Lisa McMinn and Phillip (Cheryl) Garza. She was preceded in death by her parents. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 16, 2011 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Ms. Deborah Gutowski officiating.
