Linette June Damm's Obituary
Ms. Linette June Damm, age 99, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024 in Muskegon, Michigan. She was born in Muskegon on March 23, 1924 to Jay and Ella (May) Sietsema. Linette graduated from Muskegon Heights High School, class of 1942. At age 20, Linette moved to Hollywood, Florida and resided there until moving back to Muskegon in 2004. She worked for different doctors and surgeons as a medical assistant and transcriber for 40 years prior to her retirement in 1988. Linette loved NFL football and was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. She also enjoyed knitting and crossword puzzles, and her faith remained important throughout her life. Linette is survived by her daughter, Paulette Damm; nephew and nieces-in-law, Mark and Julie VanderMeulen and Jackie VanderMeulen; and great-nieces and nephews, Jill and Derek Osborne, Laura Cole, Joel and Jackie VanderMeulen, Jami Weller, and Bryana and David Paseka. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Arline and William VanderMeulen; and nephew, Jack VanderMeulen.
